ProjectMigrants and refugees often face stigma and discrimination in their daily life despite being essential contributors for the Malaysian economy. This has been further exasperated by COVID-19. As such IOM Malaysia realised the need to create a campaign that addressed the issues of xenophobia, misinformation and stigma. Storyfrontier pitched and won with their two imaginary concepts told through a painstaking, hand-drawn animation style. In the first story we imagine what would happen if one day all migrants disappeared? In the second story we unwittingly put ourselves in the shoes of a migrant and ask ourselves, what if we were migrants? The concepts were promoted with the hashtag #WeAreInThisTogether Storyfrontier are always delighted to work in environmentally and community focused projects such as this.
