Our story
Rupert is a creative director, director of photography and the founder of Storyfrontier. He previously worked in advertising for seven years in Copenhagen and London before making Malaysia home eight years ago. Storyfrontier was born out of a desire to serve clients better by borrowing the ideation aspects of advertising and combining it with visual storytelling, whilst using our privilege as filmmakers to help society and the environment.
Our story
Rupert is a creative director, cinematographer and the founder of Storyfrontier. He previously worked in advertising for seven years in London and Copenhagen before making Malaysia home seven years ago. Storyfrontier was born out of a desire to serve clients better by combining the ideation aspects from advertising with filmmaking, whilst also using our privilege as filmmakers to help society and the environment. Rupert has worked for the likes of The UN, BBC, CNN and Facebook as well as local brands like Pos Malaysia, AirAsia and Maxis.
