ProjectA Malaysian festive brand film produced for IHH Healthcare, This Seat is built around a single, quiet motif — an empty chair. Through three interwoven vignettes spanning an Indian lorry driver racing home through Klang Valley traffic, a Chinese family processing grief while celebrating new life, and a Malay hospital patient finding unexpected company during the festive season, the film explores what togetherness truly means across Malaysia's multicultural communities. Shot across homes, a warehouse, and a hospital ward with intimate handheld cinematography, the film takes a montage-driven, non-linear approach that captures unscripted, in-between moments over structured scenes. Directed by Jeremy and produced by Storyfrontier in Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with Creo Creative.
